The Cymothoe sangaris, also called the blood-red glider, is a red butterfly that can be found in Central Africa. A male butterfly is placed in your bell jar. Only the males have a bright red color. The female is larger and has an orange base colour with black and white wavy drawings along the edge and at the wing tips.
This beautiful Cymothoe sangaris is particularly decorative and a real eye-catcher due to its deep red colour.
The insects are prepared with great care in our atelier in Leuven (Belgium).
